Frequently Asked Questions

The basics

What is letsconnect.lol?

A simple way to share your contact details. Upload an existing vCard file or build your contact card directly in the app, get a short link, and share it anywhere: email signature, QR code, social bio. Anyone who taps it gets a page where they can download your contact directly into their contacts app in one step.

Who is it for?

Anyone who shares their contact info regularly: freelancers, job seekers, salespeople, or just people who hate typing out phone numbers.

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan lets you create public identity pages with no time limit. Pro unlocks private identities and is a one-time upgrade via Stripe.

What's a vCard / .vcf file?

It's the standard file format contacts apps use to store and share contact info. When someone visits your identity page, they can download your contact as a .vcf file and import it straight into their contacts app. You create one by exporting from your existing contacts: your phone's Contacts app, macOS Contacts, and Google Contacts can all export one. On iPhone: open a contact, tap Share Contact, and export as vCard.

How is this different from a link-in-bio tool?

Those are for links. letsconnect.lol is for contact details: when someone taps your link, they get a page they can save directly to their contacts app.

Using the app

What is an identity?

An identity is one contact card: a name, a set of fields (phone, email, title, etc.), and its own shareable link. You can have multiple identities for different contexts (personal, professional, a specific project).

Can I have more than one identity?

Yes. Free accounts can create multiple public identities. Private identities are limited to one on the free plan; Pro removes that limit.

What fields can I add?

Full name, structured name, email, phone, job title, organization, URL, social handles (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, GitHub), birthday, and notes. Address fields are available on private identities only (see below).

Why can't I add an address to a public identity?

Public identity pages are visible to anyone with the link. Addresses are sensitive enough that we remove them automatically from public pages; we don't want to be the reason your home address ends up indexed somewhere. If you need to share an address, mark the identity as Private so only people with the exact link can see it.

What's the difference between a public and private identity?

Public identities are visible to anyone with the link. Private ones require the exact URL to access and won't be indexed or surfaced anywhere; they also unlock address fields. Private identities require a Pro subscription (one is allowed on the free plan).

How do I update my contact information?

Go to your identity in the dashboard, edit the fields directly, or upload a new vCard to replace the existing one.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Your account and all associated data can be deleted from your profile settings. We don't retain anything after deletion.
