Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect what we need to run the service. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than what's listed here.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address and, optionally, a username, collected when you sign up.
- Contact card data. The vCard file (.vcf) you upload, which may contain your name, phone number, photo, birthday, and other contact fields. You choose what goes in it.
- Payment information. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), used for debugging and security only.
How we use it
- Deliver the service. Account authentication, hosting your identity pages.
- Transactional email. Account confirmations, password resets, and billing receipts.
- Optional newsletter. If you opt in, we may send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for profiling, targeting, or any purpose beyond running this service.
Who can see your contact card
Your identity page is visible to anyone you share the link with. That's the point of the service. If you mark an identity as Private, the page is not publicly accessible. You control your own visibility.
Third-party services
- Stripe handles payment processing. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
- MXRoute handles transactional email delivery.
- Hetzner is our hosting provider. Servers are located in the EU.
Data retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted with it.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion. Get in touch at admin@letsconnect.lol.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app before the changes take effect.
